If you are local to the area I am sure you will have heard about Crosslanes Organic Farm, if not I am sure you will recognise this eco friendly development on the A66. Crosslanes has been built entirely on eco principles with organic, local and green thinking at the core of everything they do.
Their wonderful meadow roof which inhabits three lucky sheep named "Roofus", "Ewegene" and "Baarney" will definitely surprise any visitors - apparently they do a great job of mowing the lawn! You might find a family of geese in the childrens play area and you cant miss the pigs in the field.
You will often find Crosslanes holding exciting events promoting their local retailers, keep an eye out for their "Wine & Cheese" evenings!
