Growing up I always wanted to run a chocolate shop and at 24 it’s amazing that I have been able to set-up my own business and do what I love for a living.
I have really enjoyed watching Kacao grow and now as well as my signature truffles I have gradually expanded my collection to include Chocolate Thins, Meltaways, Chocolate Bars and Chocolate bits.
People often ask me where my inspiration comes from and, in truth, my ideas come from everywhere.
My shop and kitchen in the Stables at Sedbury Hall is stunning - based in amongst the fields and trees with beautiful flowers and scents surrounding you it’s hard not to field inspired by nature. Come visit and you will see what I mean.
My family play a huge part in my creative process, and I love to travel so new places and experiences always have a positive impact on my work.
My trip to South America really meant a great deal to me and being able to see and experience the plantations and learn and understand the industry was unforgettable. The people I met there were a huge inspiration for my business and they are in my thoughts when I am creating my chocolates.
